In their debut effort, The Secret Life of... The Veronicas managed to create a strong pop rock album that showcased the powerful songwriting and vocals of Jess and Lisa Origliasso. So with the second album, where do they go? To a completely different place filled with club beats and heavy synth that is sure to rock your world.

This album is perhaps one of the best of the year blending some open and honest lyrics with some clever arrangements. Not to mention the pairing of vocals by Lisa and Jess help them go from smooth harmonies to rockin' out in no time. From the first spin of Untouched to In Another Life you'll know this is unlike anything else being pushed on hit radio - with the exception of breakthrough singles such as Aly & AJ's Potential Breakup Song. Such as with that song, this album can be left on repeat all day (or night) long. Best of all is that you get a good variety of tempos that work out just right.

If you are a child of the 70's or just looking for some fresh electro tracks this is definitely one of the best places to go. The one major downside is the that at times the lyircs are a little to mature and honest. Lyrically all of the songs, with the exception of one (In Another Life) fall into the category of being not acceptable with the family. In two weeks, they'll be releasing an edited version that'd I'd highly recommend. Please use discretion... it received a Parental Advisory Explicit Content sticker on the front for a reason.
