Lauren Storm - March 9, 2007

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: Now I understand you just got back from shooting the final episode of Flight 29 Down. We'll get to that in a few, but first lets go over some easy questions. When it comes to flying what's the one carry on item that's a must.

Lauren Storm: I'd probably say a good book is really important for those flights that I can't get to sleep.

Tommy: What's worst the take off or the landing?

Lauren Storm: Ooh... um take off!

Tommy: Now ruling out first class, where's the best place to sit. The front the back the aisle or the window?

Lauren Storm: Window, then you can just conk out!

Tommy: And of course where's your favorite destination to go?

Lauren Storm: Oh god, I'd have to say Hawaii, I've been going there for years even before the show. It's just like a second home, it brings happiness just by being there.

Tommy: As I said you just got back from shooting the final episode although for those in the US we're waiting to find out and get to the end of episode two, what are we in for?

Lauren Storm: Ooh, well I don't want to spoil anything but I can tell you this. We are not like Lost, people don't die. Nobody dies, it's a brilliant ending it's very emotional on and off set for us. I mean the way everyone comes back together, the way DJ our writer did it was just brilliant. He's so good, I mean we love him so much but when they final said and that's a wrap for Lauren Storm for the series I was basket case. I thought Allen would be the one who would cry because you know he's going to be eleven now but when he started with us he was just turning nine. So that's important years of your life like, it was important years in my life but he's so little and I'm like it's okay I'm going to comfort Allen, it's going to be fine. Nope! I was just balling it was awful and Allen comes up to me, he's like it's okay Lauren. I'm like this is a strange turn of events.

Tommy: In addition to your acting you're also on the board of directors with Kids With A Cause. Why don't you tell us about the charity on how you got involved.

Lauren Storm: Well actually I am no longer on the board. It kinda goes in six month cycles so I've been on and off for the past eight years. But I'm still a part of it. Kids With A Cause is a great organization where you have a bunch of performers. Child performers, child actors and singers that people see on TV and it really makes people listen a little bit more when talk about fund raising and charities and people in need. And we lend our time and we go things and spend time with people who don't have very much. Or we send a message. And in addition to Kids With A Cause I work with the Los Angeles Mission, I work with Project Angelfood, Starlight Starbright Foundation. I try and do as much as I can in terms of giving my time when I have it cause it's like I get to live this life going new places, meeting new people and as hard as it is I mean I get an opportunity that a lot of people don't get to have so when I can do something and lend my time and make people happier or send a message and more people will see because I'm on TV. I mean, that's so key and I think everyone should keep that when there in a position like mine or definitely a position above mine. I mean you gotta give back I've been lucky enough to get so much that I have to give back. I don't know what I would do if I didn't give back so um, all those I mean any organization that's willing to lend time and really help people is so important and so great.
