Savannah Outen has released a music video for her new single, I’ve Got You. In addition to the music video, she shares about what inspired the song on YouTube. (Both videos contain details that the song is being featured in the Rising Star Competition on Facebook).

Changes are on the way. Varsity Fanclub has announced that this year they’ll be changing their name and they are going to need your help. You can submit ideas online at Twitter and YouTube. Definitely, a move in the right direction for an act that had the music but couldn’t get the push in the U.S. they needed. Hopefully changing some things up will attract a new audience and allow them to try new ideas.

Stunner reunion! Last week, the girl group that featured Lauren Hudson, Hayley Kiyoko, Tinashe and Marisol Esparza got together for some fun. Missing out on the fun was Allie Gonino who is currently busy with ABC Family’s, The Lying Game.

On April 10th, Shout! Factory, in association with Marvel Knights Animation, will release Astonishing X-Men: Dangerous on DVD!!

Earlier this week, Junk Food brought the board game, Monopoly, to life for shoppers on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. Passerby’s can walk past Monopoly properties with outfits created by celebrity t-shirt emporium, Junk Food, inspired by Monopoly characters. The collection ranges from $28-32, and is available exclusively at Kitson through February 15, and will then make its next stop at NY Fashion week.

This Sunday – Jennifer Stone (Wizards of Waverly Place), Gregg Sulkin (Wizards of Waverly Place), Mark Hapka (Days of Our Lives) and Linsey Godfrey (Surface) will be part of a Q and A session at Pam Rossi’s Dance Ten & Performing Arts in Moorpark, CA. Hollywood Records has announced that their new all girl rock band – Cherri Bomb will be releasing their 5 song EP, Stark on October 18th. Last week I received an advanced copy and found it refreshing. For those of you that like harder edged music every once in awhile, you might want to consider checking them out. The group will be heading to the studio soon to begin recording their full-length album, due out in 2012.
