Two weeks ago Justin Bieber‘s appearance for a Justice/WBLI promotion in Garden City, NY made the headlines when fans got out of control and the event had to be canceled. After hearing it, I couldn’t help but think that it’s been four years since the last major tween/teen star incident. Remember Radio Disney’s B5 concert on November 12, 2005 that made world news when a riot errupted and nearly 100 squad cars surrounded Brookdale Center in Brooklyn Center, MN to get control of the situation with dogs, guns loaded with rubber bullets and pepper spray. It all happened when excited fans jumped the barrier and flooded the stage to get close to B5. Members of the group had their shirts, earrings, and shoes ripped off by fans that attacked them!
