Frozen Soundtrack dominates music sales, Little Mix announce headlining tour, Echosmith advances in 2014 MTV News Musical March Madness, Alyson Stoner at Lights. Camera. Cure., Brian Littrell says BSB working on tour with the Spice Girls, A busy week for Thomas Kasp, Tickets now on sale for An Intimate Night with Action Item

March 26th, 2014

Still #1! Sales of the Frozen Soundtrack definitely got a generous bump with the release of the Blu-ray and DVD last week. The end result, 200,000+ copies were sold. That’s a 121% increase in sales from the previous week. At this point, it’s not to early to suggest the 2013 release could end up being the best selling album of 2014. Just over a week ago Little Mix finished their run on Demi Lovato‘s Neon Lights U.S. Tour and the girls have already announced they’re coming back. On September 16th they’ll kick off their first U.S. headlining tour – The Salute Tour. In all honesty, this tour could be a bad thing for the group as they struggled to draw any traffic at personal appearances and private radio shows over the last month. For more details on The Salute Tour visit Ticketmaster.com.

Echosmith has moved on to the Round 2 of the 2014 MTV News Musical March Madness. Acts knocked out in the first round include: American Authors, Haim, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, OneRepublic, Rixton, Taking Back Sunday, and We The Kings. To show your support, visit MTV.com.

Alyson Stoner pulled out all the stops at her performance at the Lights. Camera. Cure. charity event at the Avalon Theater on Sunday. The triple-threat was joined on stage by eight backup dancers for her performance of Dragon (That’s What You Wanted). Check out clips from the show on YouTube.

On Sunday, The Sun reported that Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell said that “We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls.” One side note if this does happen, odds are good the reunion will not include Victoria Beckham who’s publicly stated in the past she has no interest in being a Spice Girl anymore.

Things are definitely happening with Thomas Kasp. Last night, the actor played with the Hollywood Knights Basketball Team at Glendora High School (pictured above). Tonight, he’ll be guest starring on Melissa & Joey (ABC Family) , and tomorrow you can watch for him on the premiere of Surviving Jack (FOX).

This morning, tickets will go on sale for An Intimate Night with Action Item. This special four date tour will include no opening acts, new music, and plenty of hang time with the band after the show.

February 1st, 2010

Congrats to Keith Thomas (Levosia Entertainment)! Last night, Heather Headley’s album Audience of One, which Keith produced, won a Grammy. A few of the tracks he’s produced that you’ve rocked out to on Radio Disney include: Savannah Outen – Goodbyes, Jordan Pruitt – Jump To The Rhythm, Mandy Moore – I Wanna Be With You, 98 Degrees – I Do (Cherish You), and Vanessa Williams – Colors Of The Wind.

Did you catch the Skate For The Heart Special on NBC? Jordin Sparks, Honor Society and KSM offered some great performances, although KSM definitely scored the best pairing with the skaters as they rocked out to Read Between The Lines.

Honor Society rocks 2010! During the month of January the guys performed on three TV networks! (Pictured above singing the National Anthem at the Pro Bowl).
