Happy Mother’s Day, Mindless Behavior rocks Minneapolis, Megan and Liz announce new single, Last chance to vote for Macy’s iHeart Radio Rising Star, Monet Monico stops by Aaron Carter show, Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown, Challen Cates and Ashley Argot at EIF presents Revlon Run/Walk for Women, 78violet to host brunch at Aventine Hollywood

May 12th, 2013

Happy Mother’s Day!

Yesterday afternoon Mindless Behavior returned to Minneapolis, MN for a special performance at Epic Nightclub featuring music from their new release, All Around The World.

It was obvious that fans had been anxious to see the boys again after their last show in town at Mall of America 17 months ago. Around 7am the line began to form outside the club as the temperatures hovered in the low 40′s.

After pumping the crowd for a few minutes – Princeton, Prodigy, Ray Ray, and Roc Royal emerged on stage as the club erupted. The guys took a more casual approach to this special show, however it led to a lot more interaction with the fans and made for some memories that many will never forget. As the show progressed the crowd continued to push toward the front resulting in the music being stopped just after two songs. After the short break, Mindless Behavior returned to finish up their 30 minute set, which was followed by a VIP session. Of course this was all just a hint of what’s to come when then guys officially hit the road this summer with a full set that will include choreography, wardrobe and more. Trust me, it’ll definitely be worth adding to your to-do list this summer.

These two look excited! Megan and Liz will premiere their new single, Release You on June 1st and make it available for download June 4th at iTunes. The two also plan on putting out a lyric video for the song as well and they need your help. Visit MeganAndLiz.com for complete details.

This is it! You have until 11:59pm CST to cast 25 votes for the Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star contestants at Macys.iHeart.com/Macys. I just put in mine for Kalin & Myles… hint, hint.

Blast from the past! At the Aaron Carter concert on Friday night in Lewisville, TX their was a buzz about a familiar face in the crowd. Yep, it’s Monet Monico.

Selena Gomez Come & Get It video coming soon, RDMA Production oops!, The Ochoa Boys at Valencia High School, YLA and Vanessa Hudgens make $200 video, Goodnight Argent, Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star recap, Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown, Jordan Pruitt singing lessons, Disney stars celebrate May the 4th at Children’s Hospital LA

May 5th, 2013

Late yesterday afternoon Hollywood Records gave Selena Gomez fans a reason to get excited. The Come & Get It music video is coming on Tuesday.

Did anyone check out the Radio Disney Music Awards video stream? Despite the fact they spent a ton of cash for the event, their were elements that looked rather amateur. For instance, did you notice the teleprompter right behind Ernie D. and Ross Lynch? And in classic Radio Disney fashion, if you look closely you’ll see they misspelled the word ‘RESPONDS’.

The Ochoa Boyz rocked it last night at Valencia High School. The benefit show also featured Kenton Duty, The DAHL and Katrina with a special guest appearance by Geno Segers (Pair of Kings)

Crazy! YLA‘s new music video featuring Vanessa Hudgens was shot in a basement at a friend’s house. The entire budget for the project was $200. In the last 24 hours it’s received over 206,000 views!

Here’s a new act worth checking out! Goodnight Argent combines the infectious melodies of a Top 40 pop act with the high energy stage show of a well traveled rock band! Their unique flavor has been described as Maroon 5 meets OneRepublic. The were group recently was awarded “Best Cover” in an “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” contest for their rendition of Adele’s Rumour Has It. At the moment they’re in the process of finishing their new EP, which will be due out in July. And if that weren’t enough, one of Goodnight Argent’s upcoming music videos will feature a guest appearance from #1 Top 40 radio host, Z100′s Elvis Duran!

The new single and video for Those Were The Days will debut May 28 and the EP will be out in July. Check out a :60 second preview of the track on YouTube.

After 34 days of voting, Jessie Malay is the current leader of Macy’s iHeart Radio Rising Star contest. To cast your vote, visit Macys/iHeart.com/Macys and check back each hour to see the current leader, positions have been changing frequently.
