March 17th, 2015

Happy St. Partick’s Day!

If you didn’t buy the official story about Iggy Azalea canceling her tour due to issues with ‘production’ this might cause you to think again. In less than one week Tinashe (originally on the Iggy Azalea tour) has announced she will be an opener for Nicki Minaj on U.S. leg of The Pinkprint Tour. Yes, many people (and openers) could see clearly in advance Iggy’s Tour wasn’t going to happen and 9 times out of 10 when these things happen it’s because of ticket sales. Just sayin’!

Why it was good for Nick Jonas to back out of Iggy’s postponed tour, Nathan Sykes releases new music video, Katy Perry: The Prismatic Tour trailer, Disney confirms Frozen 2 is on its way, Metro Station announces new tour, Hotel Transylvania coming this fall, Nitro Circus draws big numbers in Japan

March 13th, 2015

Earlier this week when Iggy Azalea announced she’d bee postponing her upcoming tour it was followed by announcements from Nick Jonas and Tinashe that they were going to no longer be part of it.

As for Nick Jonas was this a good decision? Yes, absolutely – after coming off a career best single, Jealous, it’s time to get out there and support his new music. While rumors suggests he might be going on a solo tour I’d hope not. Why? Because this is the second stage of his career and being part of a large arena tour would give him the opportunity to win over fans that were previously not into the music created by him and his brothers. Hopefully his team will be able to negotiate something. Of course, a solo tour would be great… but what would be best for his career? Either way, can’t wait to see what happens – Nick has always put on a phenomenal show.

Nathan Sykes premiered the video for his song, More Than You’ll Ever Know today on Vevo.

Katy Perry brings her tour to life in the new trailer from her concert special Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour airing on March 28th at 8 PM ET/PT only on EPIX.
