Tinashe on telling other how to live, Nick Jonas receives award for sales, Taylor Swift book to be published next year, Sammi Sanchez for BCBG

December 13th, 2015

Quote of the Day:

Everyone wants to be the expert of your life, as if they know what you have been through and somehow deserve the right to tell you how to live. The truth is you never really know the politics behind the scenes and why people do what they do. Or their struggle. Or their pain. It is best to be kind, before throwing stones and making assumptions. We are all fighting a hard battle.

Last night, Island Records presented Nick Jonas with plaque recognizing that his self-titled album has sold 1 million copies (adjusted), Jealous (single) 3 million in sales, Chains (single) 2 million in sales, Levels (single) 500,000 in sales, and other various streaming records. Last night on Instagram he went on to say “It’s been such an amazing year and I am just so grateful to everyone who has made the journey of this chapter so special. Can’t wait for this next year. New music. Tour. It’s on!”
