Alyson Stoner has received her first Streamy Nomination in the Dance category for her iconic Missy Elliott Tribute Video released earlier this year that attracted over 14 million viewers. It was through this video the Step Up actress reminded her fans and the rest of America that her dance days are far from over and there is much more to come. The Fifth Annual Streamy Awards honor the best in online video and the creators behind it and will be broadcast live on September 17th at 9pm CST on VH1.

What makes it even more interesting is that the 9th worst wide-release opening in history was Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens. Long live Troy and Gabriella – jk!
