No love for Menudo. In what appears to be a trend of volume induced rage, Menudo found themselves getting screamed at during a soundcheck by Tennis Pro Rafael Nadal who was practicing at the U.S. Open.

It’s less than 2 weeks till Night Of Joy makes its debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Another first this year is pureNRG‘s debut performance at Walt Disney World. They will be playing a 45 minute set on Saturday September 6th. There are still a few tickets left, get more information by clicking here.

It’s been a long time in the making but it’s finally here. On September 13th, Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, NV will be hosting the World Premiere of Jesse McCartney‘s feature film, Keith. In addition to the movie, Jesse will be performing in concert with The Higher. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster. (The poster for this film was originally released on May 17, 2006).

Some additional material came out yesterday that we missed out on. Jordan McCoy released a cover of I Get Weak by Belinda Carlisle at iTunes. Also, Jordan Pruitt‘s Permission To Fly was released to several retail outlets (although it has yet to make it to iTunes).

Talk about an all star line-up. Natasha Bedingfield, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus and several other female singers have recorded a new single titled Just Stand Up. The song will benefit the charity Stand Up To Cancer. It will be available on September 2nd at iTunes.

As promised, Katelyn Tarver will be performing in Florida. After some cancelations earlier this month, she’s announced that she’ll be in Orlando on July 13th at Backbooth. It’s gonna be a great night since she’ll be sharing the stage with Mark & James.

Some new titles are just around the corner. College Road Trip starring Raven-Symoné and Martin Lawrence will be coming to Disney DVD and Blu-ray™ Hi-Def on July 15th. Also, hitting the shelves the same day is Step Up 2 The Streets from Touchstone Home Entertainment. The hottest dance movie of the year pulsates with electrifying new songs from today’s top artists, awesome high energy dance moves and exclusive never-before-seen bonus features that take you deeper behind-the- scenes to meet the dancers and choreographers as they showcase even more unique dance moves not shown in theaters.

Tokio Hotel may be looking to make MTV their permanent home with consecutive days on TRL’s countdown (reaching the #2 spot), a free download on Discover & Download, a tour diary on Buzzworthy and now a LIVE performance in TRL’s studio. The band will perform Ready, Set, Go! from Scream, their first U.S. album, which will hit stores May 6th, the day of the TRL performance.

On June 17th, Coldplay will be releasing their fourth album titled Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. Here’s the tracklist.

Some big news for Lissa Lauria! She’ll be part of the opening for the Live Indie Rock Wars in Las Vegas. She’ll be singing the National Anthem a capella and it includes a flyover by the US Air Force. It starts at 7:30pm PST on April 26th and will be streamed on cdpulse.com and liveindierockwars.com in addition to being simulcast to all the troops around the world as well as nearly 9 million viewers and radio listeners.

Over the weekend, the new single by Lifehouse, Whatever It Takes scored a 59% approval on the Radio Disney Music Mailbag. In addition to the big Planet Premiere – We Rock from the Camp Rock Soundtrack has been added to regular rotation.

Shooting has begun on Nickelodeon‘s new musical by the name Spectacular! Watch out High School Musical… naaaaa, I don’t think so.

Tonight Carried Away will be taking part in The Dog & Pony Show 2008 along with Kevin Max, CO3 and Joanne Cash. It’s part of GMA that kicks of today and we’ll do our best to report some of the highlights.
