New Years Eve Rockin’ Eve, Megan and Liz ask fans, Aaron Carter on Tour, Other People on Netflix, Brie Larson to present at Golden Globes, Ariana Grande to be in upcoming Final Fantasy game, Johnny Canton passes, Burkely Duffield and Katherine McNamara on Good Morning America

January 2nd, 2017

It’s time for the ancient annual TV shows to get with the times or end up like the dinosaurs. Despite the fact we now have social media that brings us news faster than THE MEDIA, these fossils haven’t changed their tune.

It’s clear that the Teen Choice Awards would’ve kept their age old scam going until on August 10, 2014 when #TeensDontHaveAChoiceAwards became the #1 Worldwide Trending Topic. The following year several changes were made, although the show will never be looked at the same way.

On New Years Eve, Mariah Carey became a trending topic as well. Why? Because people finally realized that New Years Eve show is all FAKE. However, they are still completely in the dark of how bad it was. Yes, the show aired Fifth Harmony performing with Camila Cabello. Turns out, that pre-recorded segment was taped when they were in Los Angeles, CA for the American Music Awards (approximately November 20th). Yes, another show originally created by Dick Clark for ABC.

*Note: On December 22nd, T2 featured commentary asking what we’re in store for Fifth Harmony performs on New Years Eve? Did any other outlet see this coming?

Twinning! Yesterday, Megan & Liz asked fans via Twitter “If you could have one thing from us in 2017, what would it be?!” Minutes later they posted, “We’re seeing more music and a tour?? Yeah?”

Be sure to stop on by their official website and read their annual blog posts.
