Did you happened catch the brand new Victoria Justice music video for Beggin’ On Your Knees last night during the premiere of Best Player? Click here to check it out!

Fan favorite! Bella Thorne takes time for pictures with fans on her way into the Shake It Up Q&A at the New York Times yesterday.

With all the attention on the release of the iPad 2 by Apple, Microsoft is definitely hurting for traffic to their new stores. To create some buzz, they’ve booked Selena Gomez to make an appearance at their new store in Costa Mesa, CA on March 26th. To get passes to the show, you’ll have to attend their Grand Opening on the 24th at 9:30am. (Did the Microsoft marketing people miss the fact Selena’s owned quite a few Apple products, let alone did a photo shoot with an iPad for Latina Magazine last year).

After one busy week of choreography with Chucky Klapow, Savvy has posted a video for fans to see what they’ve been up to. Click here to watch them rehearsing their new steps for I Wanna Dance.

Advance tickets are now on sale for the Digitour. Click here to check out several fan focused packages available and don’t forget, Savannah Outen will be performing at the shows on April 13th and 14th.

The new music video by Katelynne Cox can be seen exclusively at HearItFirst.com. The song, Me, will featured on her upcoming album, One Girl, that will be released on May 17th.

Miranda Cosgrove and Greyson Chance Concert Review, The Click Five resurface, Katelynne Cox on the set of new video, Christina Aquilera to sing National Antherm, Lionsgate to release The Hunger Games on March 23 2010, Cody Simpson gets a PICK

January 26th, 2011

The first big Teen Tour of 2011 is underway and last night it paid a visit to Minneapolis, MN. The bill included Miranda Cosgrove, Greyson Chance and a few other familiar faces. Even with a sluggish economy, the State Theatre was at about 75% capacity. Worth noting, the crowd averaged about age 10 and were quite anxious to see their favorite TV star.

Greyson Chance – 26 minutes

Starting off the night, Greyson Chance took straight to the keyboard to show off his talents. It ended up being a bit much for the pre-teens and they eventually tuned out. At the same time, Greyson was really stiff and was addressing the crowd with memorized lines until he personally sought out a fan that he met earlier in the day. This was one of the few times he came out of his shell. For the most part he was on vocally and almost flawless on the keys. Prior to his final number he encouraged the audience to get up and a large majority did as he put on an energetic performance of Waiting Outside The Lines.

Set List
Fire (Augustana)
Empire State Of Mind (Jay-Z)
Broken Hearts
Paparazzi (Lady Gaga)
Unfriend You
Waiting Outside The Lines

Best Song: Empire State Of Mind

Pros: Greyson has tons of talent and you know he’s only going to get better. He’s a great success story for aspiring young musicians.

Cons: The only use of vocal stems occurred during Waiting Outside The Lines. It felt odd since up until that point Greyson proved he could do it all on his own (and did).

Miranda Cosgrove – 60 minutes

Kicking off her set, Miranda Cosgrove didn’t take any chances and delivered what everyone wanted… the star of iCarly singing her theme song, Leave It All to Me. Throughout the night she kept up the energy despite singing to a seated crowd. Even for the casual fan there was enough fun and musical substance to stay entertained, and Miranda was not only fun to watch but fashionable (3 outfits). Her live band included Ben Romans (Music Director/Keys), Ethan Mentzer (Bass), and Joe Guese (Guitar) of The Click Five along with a drummer, guitarist and female vocalist.

The whole night provided to be plenty of fun, but needed a lot of polish. The transition time between songs was longer than it needed to be and some of the dialogue was awkward including when Miranda said “I’m going to be back in just a few seconds and I have two really great songs for you guys. Thank you so much for coming.” And she left with the band for four minutes? That was her second four minute disappearance for a wardrobe change of the night. I guess I can’t complain… atleast there wasn’t a fake Miranda! Miranda hid behind stems with a mix from the board that felt reminiscent of Hilary Duff where 30% of the voice you hear is real, the rest is off the album.

Set List
Leave It All To Me
About You Now
Just A Girl (No Doubt)
Stay My Baby
There Will Be Tears
Brand New You
– Dynamite (Taio Cruz)
– Bulletproof (La Roux)
– I Gotta Feeling (The Black Eyed Peas)
Kissin’ U
Dancing Crazy

Best Song: Sayonara

Pros: Miranda delivered exactly what the audience wanted. A fun show featuring all of her hits and some fun covers. Plus, her backing band breathed a lot of life into the material. The songs Bam and Sayonara featured Ben Romans trademark sound all over them. Speaking of Ben, yes… he even brings out the keytar, and it still flies!

Cons: 52 minutes of seeing the headliner on the stage is definitely on the short end of things. Production of the show was at a bare bones minimum with a basic light setup and a few inflatable props. The music used before the show, intermission, and after the show included the unedited versions of songs such as Missy Elliott – Work It, Usher f/ Pitbull – DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love, B.o.B. f/ Hayley Williams – Airplanes, and Christina Aguilera – Keeps Gettin’ Better. So much for innocent ears?

Here’s an exclusive picture of Katelynne Cox on the set of her new video for Me.

It has been confirmed that Christina Aguilera will be singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

Lionsgate has announced that March 23rd 2012 will be the release date for the highly anticipated adaptation of the Suzanne Collin’s bestseller, The Hunger Games. To get the full scoop, head on over to the Hollywood Reporter.

Last weekend, Cody Simpson‘s new song All Day received a PICK on the Radio Disney Music Mailbag.
