Cosmopolitan held its second annual Fun Fearless Life conference in New York City on Saturday, November 14th. The theme of this year’s event was POWER UP, with ideas, tips, tools, and more to help supercharge your life.

The event featured a keynote Q&A with Editor in Chief Joanna Coles and Chelsea Handler, a special performance by Rachel Platten, and dynamic presentations by entrepreneur Ivanka Trump; actress Laverne Cox; fashion designer Christian Siriano; and stylist Stacy London, among others. The conference was presented by Maybelline New York in partnership with #ActuallySheCan.

One Direction is set to take over Los Angeles next week to celebrate the release of their new album Made In The A.M.

The band will kick off the week on Tuesday, November 17th on Good Morning America’s “40 for 40” live stream event, where they will perform their single Perfect live for the first time in the U.S. They will then appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with an outdoor concert airing Wednesday, November 18th. The group will continue with a takeover of Hollywood Boulevard on Thursday, November 19th for a special performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. They will wrap up their week by taking the stage at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22nd.
