Last night City Year Los Angeles’ second annual celebration Spring Break: Destination Education raised more than $1.2 million to support the work of City Year Los Angeles’ 210 AmeriCorps members who serve as tutors, mentors and role models to more than 3,000 at-risk students. The event included live performance by Robin Thicke, American Idol Season Ten finalist Haley Reinhart and debut artist Ashan. Here’s a list of some of the celebrities that showed up to support the event: Dianna Agron (Glee), Ken Baumann (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Jackie Emerson (The Hunger Games), Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), Steven R. McQueen (The Vampire Diaries), Ryan Ochoa (Pair of Kings), Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four), Halston Sage (How to Rock), and Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games)

Five years ago today, Radio Disney held their Totally 10 Birthday Concert at The Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. To date, there hasn’t been anything of this nature in the tween/teen space. The lineup included so many faces soon to be household names it’s not funny! This show also forced Disney to figure out what they were going to do with Miley Cyrus, star of the new show – Hannah Montana. What name would she go by on the billing? Eventually they settled on ‘Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana’. The show included the Jonas Brothers as emcee’s to promote their brand new single, Year 3000. Another highlight was when Chucky Klapow, Monique Coleman and Ashley Tisdale from High School Musical taught the choreography to We’re All In This Together. Nothing like the early days of the… what team? Wildcats!

Cody Simpson has announced details of his upcoming tour at select Simon Property Group malls throughout the U.S. The Coast To Coast Tour will be presented by Pastry and co-sponsored by Claire’s and Defeat The Label. Simpson will be launching the tour with a performance on NBC’s Today Show on August 5th before hitting the road August 6th. Here are the dates:
