Jamie Grace loves chasing dogs, A new look at Jem and the Holograms, Star Wars Celebration fan convention, Laugh-o-gram comic strip only newspaper

April 19th, 2015

Quote of the Day:

A lady at our hotel had a mini schnauzer who took off running down the hallway. I asked and she gave me the honors of chasing him.

Jamie Grace

Synergy! Nylon magazine has a brand new feature on the stars of the upcoming film, Jem and the Holograms.

Yesterday, James Maslow returned to the race track for the 2015 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in Long Beach, CA.

You just never know who’s going to show up at the annual Star Wars Celebration fan convention in Anaheim, CA?

Seeking to preserve a uniquely American art form, Nashville based media entrepreneur Logan Sekulow has announced the launch of Laugh-O-Gram, a weekly, family-friendly comic strip-only newspaper delivered by mail. The all-new funny pages will include original comics as well as classic titles including Peanuts, Garfield, Family Circus, Beetle Bailey, Amazing Spiderman, Popeye, Dennis the Menace, Marmaduke, Zits, Ziggy, Baby Blues, Hi and Lois, The Phantom, Dilbert, FoxTrot, Nancy and more.

Each issue of Laugh-O-Gram will feature six full-color pages of classic and original comics. The paper hopes to bring the funnies to a new generation, while retaining what made them appealing to the pre-2000s generation. The paper will be printed on newsprint and delivered directly to the mailboxes of subscribers.

Laugh-O-Gram found immediate support when they launched a Kickstarter campaign in March, with rewards that include various subscription packages at discounted rates and original art. Artists offering original pieces of art include Ron Ferdinand, Tom Bancroft, Guy Gilchrist, and fine-artist Noah. Comic fans can still participate in the Kickstarter campaign which is available through Friday, April 24th.

Madisen Beaty
The Fosters

Bea Miller‘s music video for her debut single, Young Blood, has surpassed 1 million views on VEVO.

Classic! Last night Jamie Grace tweeted a video clip of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Life Size starring Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan. To her surprise, it was favorited by… Tyra Banks.

From Popstar to Home Builder to Developer? Kevin Jonas has released, Yood!, the App available for iPhone. The uninspired title is basically a clone of Yelp and is actually ‘powered’ by the same database used by Yelp. In reality, there’s only one thing interesting about this, and that’s the product description. “Now you can save your index fingers for much more important things like Candy Crush or stalking your ex-girlfriend’s Instagram feed instead of endlessly searching.” Okay?

Have you voted yet? Time is running out to vote for Esprit & Celica Westbrook in Teen Vogue’s BFF’s of Beauty contest. You can vote for them at TeenVogue.com. (Must be 13 or older to vote.)

One of Disney’s favorite Princesses is headed to Indiana! Paige O’Hara (Belle) will be a guest at Indiana Comic Con held at the Indianapolis Convention Center this March 13th-15th.
