Worldwide Day of Play brings out the best of Nickelodeon, Carlos Pena calls foul or fouls, Big Time Rush shows they’re the real thing at Worldwide Day of Play, It’s beginning to look a lot like… Allstar Weekend recording a Christmas album, Megan and Liz running non-stop in LA, Jada shows off new look at single and video release party, Snow Patrol and Red Hot Chili Peppers at Rock in Rio, Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown

September 25th, 2011

Talk about a Network that just keeps getting better and better. Nickelodeon delivers in a major way with their Worldwide Day of Play special. (Additional pictures can be viewed at Nick.com).

The Blue Team (Carlos Pena, Jennette McCurdy, Matt Bennett and Ryan Potter) won after barely escaping the preliminary round. If it weren’t for Carlos Pena calling foul, they wouldn’t have advanced to the final round to take the win. Although those watching with a close eye noticed it was the elbow of Carlos that caused the only real foul of the day. Just ask Jennette McCurdy – Lol!

Is it just me, or do you find it funny that the made for TV act Big Time Rush continues to use less backing tracks than most touring acts these days? Yesterday the guys did it the old fashioned way at their performance at Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play. Yes… these guys ARE the real thing.

You just never know what you’ll find on the internet these days? According to a Facebook post by New Life Entertainment, Allstar Weekend is currently recording a Christmas album. At this time I haven’t received confirmation from the label. (Credit: @musicplayingon)

Megan and Liz pose with the cast of their new music video. The two have been running non-stop since arriving in LA. Friday it was a late night out at the Teen Vogue Party and then up early on Saturday to shoot their music video.

This Tuesday, they’re new single, The Party’s On Fire, produced by Rio will be released on iTunes and other digital music outlets and the music video directed by Vassili Shields will premiere on Youtube and Vimeo.

Rock in Rio 2011 continues on! Highlights yesterday included Snow Patrol and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
