When is the last time you relived the magic of Walt Disney’s classic Cinderella? The age-old story is now available for the first time as a Two-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo.

The tale begins with Cinderella unhappy as a servant to her wicked stepmother and treatment by her cruel stepsisters. To make matters worst, she’s prevented from going to a ball where the prince awaits searching for a potential princess. Fortunately for Cinderella, she has a fairy godmother to save the day and give her an opportunity to meet the Prince by enchanting her surroundings. With the help of mice and a pumpkin she arrives to the ball and makes a splash.

This film is presented in it’s original format of a 1.33:1 aspect ratio. The colors a rich and black levels are pure. Once again Disney gives another you a phenomenal look at the gorgeous animation that was done for this film.

DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 and the score fills the channels with the vocals rooted in the center channel. Songs like “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes,” “Sing Sweet Nightingale,” and “So This Is Love” have never sounded so good.

The Glass Slipper still fits, Cinderella is a great story without any complex plots and a timeless collection of music. Great for the entire family.

America’s Next Top Model alum, Eva Marcille hosted the launch of SPOILED!, an online platform consigning children’s gently used designer clothing, at Sur Restaurant in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night to benefit the charity organization, Jenesse Center. Disney XD’s Pair of Kings star, Geno Segers joined in hosting the festivities with special guest, Ryan Ochoa, as they presented a children’s fashion show to debut the styles on SPOILED!’s site, which ten percent of net profits will be donated to Jenesse Center, a non-profit domestic violence intervention organization that supports victimized families to help bring them back to a place of stability. Other celebrities in attendance included Tichina Arnold, Jessica Canseco and singer/songwriter Ceej.

In honor of Disney’s global release of the classic animated masterpiece Cinderella, which will be available in Blu-ray Diamond Edition on October 2, 2012, Walt Disney Studios, in collaboration with Christian Louboutin and Glam Media, has revealed details of their national quest to find a modern-day Cinderella. One lucky woman whose style and fashion sense best embodies the Cinderella fairytale will ultimately be awarded with a pair of original Cinderella slippers re-imagined by world-renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin during a private event at Disneyland, CA taking place on September 27th.

The national search begins on September 4 and encourages women, 18 and over, to submit their ultimate Cinderella look on Facebook to vie for a chance to win the magical shoe. To be eligible, entrants should take a picture of the ideal outfit in their closet which portrays a look to match the Cinderella-inspired slippers re-imagined by Christian Louboutin. Next step – Upload it to Facebook by the stroke of midnight on September 11, 2012 for a chance to win.
