Look for Bella Thorne on the cover the Girls’ Life June/July issue!

Yesterday Lady Antebellum visited Kravis Children’s Hospital at Mount Sinai for Musicians On Call/ Citi where they performed an acoustic set consisting of songs from their catalog in addition to some children’s songs. They also appeared on Mount Sinai’s KidZone TV answering their questions from children in the pediatric unit and those confined to their rooms. Haywood and Kelley then went around and visited the bedsides of young patients.

May 8th, 2013

Quote of the Day:

I don’t care about Taylor Swift’s love life. I don’t care about Harry Styles’ love life… I care about mine. I find it weird that people are so obsessed with other people’s love lives!

Demi Lovato

VEVO‘s got it! The highly anticipated music video for Come & Get It by Selena Gomez. As for the video, I think of James Montgomery of MTV’s Buzzworthy said it best “…she’s paying homage to the time-honored tradition that (Britney) Spears — not to mention a myriad of other teen-pop queens — have endured: namely, the point where they shed their squeaky-clean veneers.”

As a result of Bella Thorne landing a role in the movie Blended, she’s had to cancel her tour dates this summer. Also worth noting – up and comer Emma Fuhrmann who I interviewed last summer has a role in Blended as well.

Megan and Liz have teamed up with DoSomething.org and VH1 Save The Music to help save music programs in school. They need your help and all you have to do is make a short video, everyone who participates will be eligible to win a grant for their school’s music program. For more details, watch their video.

So awesome! Just after I spoke with Kalin & Miles last Saturday they literally blew the roof off of Macy’s. Check out this video recap of the event. If you haven’t seen this act yet, this is a must see.

Beyoncé has created an original song, Rise Up for the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios motion picture, Epic, for which she also voices one of the lead characters. The song, performed by Beyoncé, is written by Beyoncé and Sia and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. The track will be released by Columbia Records.

What??? Apparently during the final run of Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star contest they will not be displaying the leaderboard, so it’s anybody’s guess who’s #1. Be sure to put your (25) votes today at Macys.iHeart.com/Macys . (I’m sure Kalin & Myles would love it if you voted for them).

Yesterday – Zoe Saldana, J.J. Abrams, Alice Eve and Chris Pine attended the photocall of Star Trek Into Darkness movie at Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City, Mexico.

On July 9th Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release The Host on Blu-ray Combo Pack with DVD & Ultraviolet. If you can’t wait, you can be the first to own when it releases as a digital download on June 25th.

· Bringing The Host To Life: A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, featuring interviews with Stephenie Meyer, Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, and Jake Abel.
· Seeker PSA: Feature Commentary with Author/Producer Stephenie Meyer, Screenwriter/Director Andrew Niccol, and Producer Nick Wechsler.
