Tuesday night, Lady Antebellum visited the McKittrick Hotel in New York for their Golden release show presented by Citi. The night also benefited Musicians On Call, a non-profit organization who brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. A donation was made to Musicians On Call on behalf of LadyAID, Lady Antebellum’s foundation formed to raise awareness and generate support for the plight of children locally, nationally, and globally who cannot otherwise help themselves.

Adding to the previously announced, star-studded roster of talent performing at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, The Band Perry, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kacey Musgraves are also slated to take the stage.

It’s pretty clear that the all points bulletin went out earlier this week to promote ticket sales for the Radio Disney Music Awards. As of press time there are still a lot of tickets available, at Ticketmaster and  Craiglist you can find blocks of 8 tickets together. Based on the cost of the event (including MTV VMA Producer, Salli Frattini) and little financial return for all the effort, I’d say chances are slim the event will return next year. Not to mention, the roster of RD exclusive acts is so small that the lineup would be virtually the same year after year. Let’s be honest, the people in Burbank like to ‘feel’ like they’re important and that’s what this event is all about.

Allstar Weekend has completed their album that will be released under a new name. It’s should be available in July/August as the band finishes their final shows under the name Allstar Weekend.

This Sunday, Megan and Liz will be featured on Oprah‘s – Where Are They Now at 9pm CST on OWN TV.
