Quote of the Day:

Only dead fish go with the flow.

Carmen Justice

As usual, with any awards shows there are a few questions to be asked the Kids’ Choice Awards 2017. The first one, did you happen to catch the phrase underneath every entry that says “Winners are determined by voter preferences and other considerations.” Translation, your vote doesn’t matter. Seriously?

Who wins the award? The KCA’s actually get credit for making the right call on this one. Under the category of Favorite Group they used the new photo of Fifth Harmony. Under the category of Best Single, they went with the original lineup. After all, Camila Cabello should get credit for singing on the track.

To this day I don’t think any award show has ever done the category of Best New Artist justice. After all, they’re rarely new acts, but if they’re guilty of a misdemeanor THIS is a felony. Fans of T2 will definitely be scratching their head about seeing Solange listed. Here are the facts, her first solo CD was released by Music World / Columbia on January 21, 2003 – over 14 years ago! The release even debuted on the Billboard 200 at 49. Anybody still have their Solange stickers from Limited Too!? The set also included Aaron Carter and Play.

In the category of Viral Music Artist the KCA’s went with young talent who’s average age is 14, with exception of Tiffany Alvord who is 24. So what do you think, is she worthy of the nomination? I do.
