Yesterday we received many polite emails from Katharine McPhee fans about our news of her album date being pushed back. Not too long after we reported the news, Amazon.com confirmed that Universal has pushed the album back to January 5th. We’ll do our best to keep you up-to-date on the situation. (Thanks to those you who updated the Wikipedia page, we appreciated it!)

The Circus came to AllState Arena in Illinois, no not just any circus; the Britney Spears circus. If you haven’t been able to check it out the first thing you should know that it is in fact a real circus. To open the show, Kristina DeBarge came out and sang three songs, but did not get a big reaction from the crowd. Her set was over in less then 10 minutes! Following Kristina’s performance was a 25 minute intermission. To reopen the show the Big Apple Circus came out and did some amazing stunts including… oops, I won’t spoil it for those of you who are still going to see the show. Then Britney came on, opening with none other then Circus. I must admit that if you are going to the show to see Britney because you were a fan back in her prime, and are not up-to-date on her last two CDs, this is a tour you may want to concider skipping. She didn’t sing many older songs, however she did do One More Time and Toxic. During her set, the Circus acts would come back out and keep the crowd entertained during all of Britney’s costume changes. The show all and all was well put together and gave you a lot to look at with her bright lights, twelve dancers, cirucs acts, and assortmant of props but if you are looking for older songs, or are just going to see Britney perform, you may want to concider skipping it. (Review by Abbey S.)
