A month ago, Nielsen posted details regarding teen engagement with radio as they grow older. What they learned is that teen radio listeners, end up listening more to radio as they grow older. I would go on to suggest based on lifelong music preferences those studied are listening to a radio format similar to that of when they were teens. So, with that being said why did Radio Disney flip their format to specifically target Moms? Most likely because they don’t or haven’t understood their core listeners for the last 10 years who have grown up loving the product.

The headliners that will be used for this years iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball shows will include: Taylor Swift, Ed Sheehan and Demi Lovato. Additional acts used throughout the tour will be Charlie Puth, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, The Chainsmokers, Fall Out Boy, and Nick Jonas. For those of you unable to see a show, the December 1st concert in L.A. will be livestream on CWTV.com and the CW TV app. Also, it will be broadcast on the CW on December 14th.

At one point Taylor Swift was too big to do these radio shows, I guess it’s fair to say she’s peaked.

Little Mix has announced they’ll be re-releasing their album Glory Days in the UK as a Platinum Edition featuring their current single Reggaetón Lento and three brand new songs, as well as the remixed singles featuring Stormzy, Kid Ink and Machine Gun Kelly.
