The Washington Post takes a hard look at battle between the music industry and YouTube. It’s clear that YouTube avoids paying a fair market rate to stream songs, but at the same time I can’t help but question the sincerity of  this article that appears in The Post (which is owned by Amazon who has their own music service).

10am CST – The Parent Trap (MTV)
Remake of the 1961 Disney comedy about separated identical twins who meet at camp, change places and hatch a plot to reunite their divorced parents. In this version, one twin is from California and the other is from London. Lindsay Lohan makes her film debut as twins Hallie and Annie.

10:10am CST – The Smurfs (Freeform)
The Smurfs take an unexpected trip through a portal and land in the middle of New York City, and they must find their way home before their archnemesis Gargamel (Hank Azaria) tracks them down. Directed by Raja Gosnell.

11am CST – The Swap (Disney Channel)
A rhythmic gymnast and a hockey player mysteriously swap bodies and must figure out how to get back in their own skin before the exchange becomes permanent.

12pm CST – The Hunger Games (TNT)
After her younger sister is chosen to take part, 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers to compete in her place in a cruel televised tournament in which 24 teenagers from a postapocalyptic society fight to the death for the entertainment of the masses in a competition known as the “Hunger Games,” which are broadcast across the nation as entertainment, and to reinforce the government’s total power.

12pm CST – Legally Blonde (E!)
Ditzy blonde decides to attend Harvard Law School when her snobby boyfriend dumps her for a more “appropriate” woman. Despite her penchant for malls, makeup, and tanning, she shows the elite Ivy League set a thing or two about class and self-confidence.

Walt Disney’s pioneering first feature-length animated film, based on the Grimm tale about a princess, seven dwarves, a jealous queen with a poisoned apple and Prince Charming.

Computer-animated tale centering on the rivalry between two children’s toys: Woody, a cowboy doll who’s the leader and the brains of the group, and a cocky spaceman named Buzz Lightyear. But the two learn to band together when they’re faced with the bratty kid from next door, who just loves to make mincemeat out of toys.

2:45pm CST – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (TNT)
Katniss and Peeta sense growing unrest as they tour the country of Panem and prepare to participate in the 75th Hunger Games. Meanwhile, President Snow plots their downfall during preparations for the Quarter Quell, which only occurs every 25 years in celebration of the Capitol’s victory over the districts.

3pm CST – Wreck It Ralph (Disney XD)
A video-game villain attempts to change his image by participating in a first-person-shooter game, but in the process, he wreaks havoc in his virtual universe by freeing an evildoer who can only be defeated with the help of an unlikely ally.

4:02pm CST – Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (Syfy)
Crafty pirate Jack Sparrow schemes to get out of a debt that would have him hand over his soul to the ghostly Davy Jones.

4:15pm CST – Toy Story 2 (Freeform)
Buzz and the gang race to save Woody after he’s kidnapped by a greedy toy collector who’s intent on making a lucrative online sale.

5:05pm CST – Cars 2 (Disney Channel)
While superstar race car Lightning McQueen prepares to compete in the World Grand Prix, his best friend Mater accidentally becomes involved in international espionage. The whole crew must work together to rescue Mater, stop the bad guys and win the big race.

5:30pm CST – The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 (TNT)
Katniss ends up in District 13 following the Quarter Quell, and sets out to save Peeta while forging a fragile alliance with President Coin. Meanwhile, Katniss’ courage becomes a source of inspiration to the downtrodden masses.

6:20pm CST – Toy Story 3 (Freeform)
When Andy leaves for college, Woody, Buzz and the rest of his toys end up in a day-care center. There, the gang plots a daring escape with the help of some new friends. But some of the toys aren’t quite what they seem.

7pm CST – Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 (Nickelodeon)
Russell Wilson hosts the fourth annual celebration honoring kids’ favorites in professional sports. Included: Michael Phelps receives the Legend Award.
