The Wanted received a nice mention yesterday at the British Red Cross website. Turns out that on Sunday, a fan fainted as their tour bus was passing by. As a result, she hit her head on a brick wall which triggered a seizure. Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker immediately jumped out of the bus to help her and called for an ambulance. After the event Tom said, “It was pretty frightening, but anyone would have done the same.” Read the entire story at redcross.org.uk. Word is out the group will be opening for Justin Bieber on his Believe tour this fall.
Finally! Allstar Weekend‘s The American Dream EP is now available on iTunes after an 8 day delay. Purchase this release at iTunes and help support Tommy2.Net.
Yes it’s true… an advertisement for the Band Against Bullying show featuring Megan and Liz was featured in the July 10th edition of USA Today in the Life section. There’s also a mention of the show at Z100′s website – and one more thing, as of yesterday they have over 700,000 YouTube subscribers.
Jamie Grace has released her official music video for the song Come To Me, featuring an intro by Joanne Cash. In fact, the video was filmed at the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, TN.
Boys Like Girls have announced to their fans via their Ustream that they’ll be releasing their Crazy World EP July 17th on Columbia Records via iTunes. The EP features three full length songs – the first single Be Your Everything, Life Of The Party and The First Time–from the band’s forthcoming third album Crazy World, available this fall. Boys Like Girls is offering the EP in conjunction with iTunes’ “Complete My Album,” which allows fans who purchase the EP to get the full length album at a discounted price upon its release. Check out a preview of Be Your Everything at Soundcloud.
If you missed Keke Palmer‘s music video premiere of You Got Me on BET’s 106 & Park, you can check it out now on YouTube.
Tomorrow, Katelyn Tarver will be putting on a 15 minutes Pre Tour Performance at Stageit.com. Head on over to reserve your ticket now – only 75 are available!
Last weekend, the song Wanted by Hunter Hayes received a 62 percent Pick on the Radio Disney Music Mailbag.
Say what? Last night at 12am EST DirecTV dropped all of Viacom’s channels – including: Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., NickToons, TeenNick, TV Land, MTV, MTV2, VH1, VH1 Classic, Palladia, CMT, BET, Comedy Central, Spike and more. At the heart of it are two parties that have not been able to agree on a new contract. Apparently, Viacom is asking for a $1 billion dollar increase and threatened legal action if DirecTV continued using their programming without a contact. #INeedMyBTR
