T2 Exclusive: 15 Years in the making! Here’s a look back at the Radio Disney article by Bruce Horovitz that ran in USA Today on May 9th, 1997. While the station celebrates it’s birthday on November 18th, this date in history is a more important one. Up until this point, Radio Disney was in a test phase and if it had not achieved positive results Disney would’ve pulled the plug on the project. To hear more details about what is was like during this time, be sure to listen to our original interview with Robin Jones, former Radio Disney VP, Programming. #GETREADYFORTHIS

After slow ticket sales last week, it has been announced that How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Nick Jonas will be ending it’s run at the Al Hirschfeld Theater on May 20th. To be fair, the show had one amazing run and no matter who the leading man was, it was only a matter of time before it lost it’s appeal. For more details, head on over to NYTimes.com.

The list is frozen! As we enter the final days, be sure to visit Macys/iHeart.com/Macys/ to vote for your favorite acts.

You can pre-order Haley Reinhart‘s debut album Listen Up! now at iTunes. In addition to ordering the album that will be released on May 22nd, you can also preview 90 seconds of every song.

She’s back in the studio! Savannah Outen is currently recording new music for the film Take A Chance. Not only will she be singing in the movie by Crossing Hollow Films, but will star in it alongside Cassie Scerbo (Make It or Break It).

Last weekend, the song Lights by Ellie Goulding received an 81 percent Pick on the Radio Disney Music Mailbag.

It was fun while it lasted! Last night, Roshon Fegan was eliminated from the cast of Dancing With the Stars. You have to hand it to him for ending with class by saying “I am happy to add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves.” If anything, it’s a reminder that Disney Channel stars don’t have a large enough fan base to win the Mirror Ball despite some amazing performances in the past by Chelsea Kane, Cody Linley, Kyle Massey, Monique Coleman and Sabrina Bryan.

The Hollywood Reporter is at it again. Yesterday, they broke the news that in addition to Ashley Tisdale‘s new Bravo series Miss Advised, her company Blondie Girl Productions is developing three digital web series that she’ll be promoting via Twitter. Later in the day Deadline.com confirmed that ABC Family has entered into a development deal with Blondie Girl Productions detective drama, The Keys, which will include Ashley in a starring role. This girl is still one of the hardest workers in the business!
