Yesterday the iTunes Music Store announced that one billon songs have been legally downloaded since its launch less than three years ago. The billionth song purchased was Coldplay’s ‘Speed of Sound’ by Alex Ostrovsky from West Bloomfield, MI. To celebrate the occasion, Apple Computer rewarded him with a 20-inch iMac, 10 iPods and a $10,000 gift card for use at the iTunes Music Store. They also set up a scholarship at the Julliard School of Music in his name to commemorate the milestone.
Last night on AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 5, it was a 1-hour long results show. After the nation-wide vote, 2 girls and 2 boys were sent home. Here are the four finalists with the least amount of votes this week:

Kyle Massey checked in recently to tell fans about the final taping of ‘That’s So Raven.’
“The last day of filming was fun but very emotional. The audience was packed to capacity and the energy from the fans was unbelievable! The cast tried to make the taping last forever because we didn’t want the show to end. The whole day was one big party. Everyone exchanged gifts and phone numbers, and then we had a really big party on the following night for the cast and crew. It was fun but kinda sad. I’m going to miss Raven and everyone but we’ll keep in touch.”
Tomorrow Diana DeGarmo will be at the opening of the 5th Avenue World of Disney Store in New York City at 10AM. She will participate in the public ribbon-cutting and the store has agreed to sell her CDs and promote her as a featured performer in Hairspray. Diana is going to do a CD signing as well.
