T2 Exclusive: After Tuesday night’s ‘Spring Premiere’ of the second half of Glee‘s first season, Sony has added Glee: The Music, Volume 3 – Showstoppers to their release schedule with a release date of May 18th. Also worth mentioning is there are two listings: a normal edition and a deluxe edition. More details to come for both versions.

Once again, Allstar Weekend gives us the scoop on the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown. According to a tweet yesterday, their song A Different Side Of Me will be #6 on the countdown. Guess what we’ve got even better news for the guys… the single right now is the #3 on Radio Disney’s playlist. Between April 3rd and 6th the song was played 32 times! (source: MediaBase)

Drake Bell relaunched his career a couple of weeks ago with two brand new photo shoots released on his Facebook and a brand new MySpace layout. Here’s the artwork for the June 8th release of StarStruck. The movie will be an extended edition exclusive to this release and will also include 3 music videos and 8 “Rock-Along” tracks to sing along with as bonus features. There will also be a 2-disc version which has the same bonus features but will include the CD soundtrack. Like Wizards Of Waverly Place: The Movie, this was broadcast in HD, but Disney will not be releasing this title to Blu-ray.

Gone? Yesterday Apple announced that over 500,000 iPads were sold during their first week. Based on forecasting, they’re likely to run out of them within’ a few weeks. The strain on supply has also delayed the iPads International launch.

Tomorrow, at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in conjunction with Inwindow Outdoor will unveil an interactive digital exhibition to promote the release of Avatar on Blu-ray and DVD. The Avatar display is a 60’ x 10’ structure at The Grove and features three ‘morphing stations’ surrounded by vinyl and branded in Avatar themes. As mall shoppers approach the screens, facial recognition technology will hone in on their faces and transform them into Na’vi, the blue skinned species from the future made famous in the movie. Once the morph is complete, users can enter their email address via touch-screen so they can be sent the video of their transformation along with information on where to purchase the DVD.
