The story behind the story… we know the winners of the Teen Choice Awards are selected by the producers of the show (not popular vote). While Justin Bieber fans rejoiced when he was prematurely given 4 Awards, they failed to notice – they got dissed! If you look into the TCA nominations you’ll notice the one category related to Justin that didn’t win was the category of ‘Fanatic Fans’. So much for the Segway chase.

After Selena Gomez had to cancel an appearance at the Delaware State Fair, Allstar Weekend stepped in to save the day with a special performance of her hit song Naturally. It’s still hanging in there! Miranda Cosgrove‘s Kissin U picked up over 300 spins from last week to bump it back to 22.

Last Monday, Tamar Kaprelian‘s song New Day was featured on ABC Family’s – The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Since the episode aired, they have added short blog about Tamar at ABCFamily.com focusing on her classic pop influence.

While some are excited about the #7 debut for the JONAS L.A. soundtrack, those looking closely at the numbers can’t help but think how much gas is left in the tank? According to all key indicators the group is performing at levels comparable to where they were at in 2007. Sales of the long awaited soundtrack barely cracked 33,000. Based on that performance, you can’t help but wonder if the bros made a mistake in aligning with Disney for a Camp Rock 2 branded tour. One thing a large majority of people are unaware of is that Gold and Platinum certifications aren’t the same in all countries. In fact, if we used the Australian measurements to the shipments of Can’t Be Tamed in the U.S., on opening week it would’ve gone Platinum. At 7pm (CST) on Nickelodeon, iCarly reveals Carly’s bedroom for the first time ever in an all-new special episode, iGot a Hot Room. When a birthday gift from Spencer accidentally catches fire and destroys Carly’s bedroom, Spencer recruits the iCarly gang to help make her room into the coolest, most incredible new bedroom imaginable.

At the same time, Disney Channel premieres a new Suite Life on Deck entitled Das Boots. While Maya helps Zack and Woody transfer London’s shoes to her shoe submarine, Zack accidentally causes the sub to submerge, trapping them with only 30 minutes of oxygen. In fear that they’ll never get out, Maya finally admits that she likes Zack back. Meanwhile, Marcus helps Cody prepare for a big chess match against the junior chess champion of Russia, who happens to be a distractingly cute girl.

Then, at 7:30pm (CST) on Wizards of Waverly Place, Alex joins Harper’s parent’s vaudevillian act after deciding they are more fun than her own parents, but when she realizes the Finkles are all work and no play, she quickly comes up with a plan to get her kicked out of their performing group, in athe new episode Wizards vs. Finkles.
