When it comes to the future of Teen Pop Music, there’s a new Mr. Big in town! Meet Michael Lowrey, aka ‘Orange Mike’, one of the guys who can make or break you on the internet. He’s best known as a Wikipedia Senior Editor and his latest thumbs down goes to… Savannah Outen. With one click of a mouse last fall he was part of the crew that deleted her Wikipedia page and his reason was that she “Doesn’t indicate importance or significance of a real person”. This last week Jesse McCartney‘s How Do You Sleep was added to 17 new radio stations, but it still wasn’t enough for a Top 40 debut.

Jonas Brothers have been scheduled to appear on Barbara Walters’ Oscar Special! Other guests will include Mickey Rourke, Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman. Be sure to tune in February 22nd at 7pm on ABC to catch the intimate interview with Kevin, Joe and Nick.

On Radio Disney, they’re pushing her as if she were about to have a new TV show! Currently Demi Lovato‘s La La Land is number #1 in programming (no big surprise). A massive push has been given to Jesse McCartney‘s How Do You Sleep. The song just debuted at the 10th spot on their playlist. Also, worth noting is that Shontelle and Akon are getting plenty of airtime with Stuck With Each Other. Previously Akon had been banned from Radio Disney’s playlist due to what happened at his 2007 concert in Trinidad. To make matters worse, less than one month ago he plead guilty after body slamming a 15-year-old boy into the audience (at a Radio Disney sponsored event), resulting in one girl suffering a concussion. Jim Hill Media has a new article asking who will be Disney’s next tween queen? In it he discusses the future of Hannah Montana and suggests the TV show will probably end taping a fourth season and that a sequel to the movie could be in the works. The big question at hand though is who will emerge from The Princess Protection Program as the standout star? He points out that the front runner appears to be Selena Gomez although to not count Demi Lovato out.

Eventful and Little Big Town have announced that country musicians across the nation can register and compete to land a spot as the opening act on Little Big Town’s upcoming A Place to Land tour. The top four acts will perform at different stops on the tour during March. The fans vote on which band they’d like to see on tour. The four performers with the most Demands will have won themselves a huge step forward in their music careers. Gloriana (Cheyenne Kimball’s band) is trying to take one of those spots. Jonas Brothers are set to release the Soundtrack to their new movie, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience on February 24th, three days before the film is slated to hit 3D theaters across the nation. The soundtrack includes old favorites like Hold On and S.O.S as well as live performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called Love Is On Its Way. The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way.
