THE T2 STAFF

Anth
Every Tuesday he delivers! The best recap of what will be new on the shelves at retailers along with listing who has the best exclusives. All this in addition to running a fantastic site of his own – insiderevolution.net.

Elyn
This last year we picked up Elyn to specialize in a new segment called ‘On Broadway’. To say we’re thrilled with what she’s done is an understatement. She clearly has a feel for the write-ups that are full of T2 related happenings.

Jimmy
One-of-a-kind! Then again anybody who saw the Spice Girls four times on their 2007 tour could probably claim that title. When it comes to keeping you in the know with the UK Pop Scene, Jimmy’s got it!

Kelsey
She does it all! While she’ll typically tell you she’s in charge of the Concert listings, she does a whole lot more. Including: Photos, Approving T2 Talent, Reporting on Nashville happenings, and even being a content contributor.

Kevin
The ultimate go-to guy when it comes to having a finger on the pulse of all upcoming releases. This guy has more intel than the FBI. If you’ve got a CD coming out, he knows before you do.

Mysti
One of our newest members to the staff! In addition to being one totally rockin’ DJ in St. Louis, she also lends her amazing on-air talents to T2 Interviews. We are so fortunate to have a personality of her caliber.

Raul
While he’s had to take a step back from T2 over the last year, he’s still money in the bank. Raul’s done so much to help put T2 on the map that he’ll never be forgotten.

Sarah
Before you wake up, you can be sure Sarah has looked over the news at T2 to make sure it’s much easier on the eyes. She proofs our updates every night and cleans up all the grammatical errors. Her job is the one you aren’t supposed to notice… but we do!

THE FANS!

Thanks for making 2007 our best year yet! So many of you are daily visitors and we appreciate you making T2 a part of your life. And an extra special thanks to those that spread the word to your friends, and online at places such as MySpace, message boards, fan pages and Wikipedia.

This last year it’s been a treat to meet so many T2 fans across the country at various concerts. I’d love to list all of the cool people I’ve met, but the list would go on forever! Thanks again – without your support, we couldn’t do what we do.

Daily News

December 30th, 2007

Among the several Top lists at the end of the year, AOL has named their Top 20 Tween (and Teen) TV Stars. They’ve got the right names, but it appears that they’ve dropped the ball on the ranking.

1. Miley Cyrus
2. Zac Efron
3. Vanessa Hudgens
4. & 5. Nat and Alex Wolff
6. Jamie Lynn Spears
7. & 8. Dylan & Cole Sprouse
9. Drake Bell
10. Miranda Cosgrove
11. Corbin Bleu
12. Ashley Tisdale
13. Emma Roberts
14. Jonas Brothers
15. Sabrina Bryan
16. Keke Palmer
17. Brenda Song
18. Selena Gomez
19. Raven Symone

Even with one Hannah Montana episode under their belt and music videos in rotation, Jonas Brothers should’ve ranked higher than The Naked Brothers Band. Other standouts are Ashley Tisdale who we’ve lately documented as the leading female of the HSM brand and Selena Gomez who’s got some great music coming your way soon.

On Thursday, January 3rd – Aly & AJ will be hosting a take over on Radio Disney between 3-5pm Central.

Yesterday on the Radio Disney Music Mailbag, Cascada‘s What Hurts The Most scored a 53% pick.

Tomorrow on ABC, be sure to check out Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve. It will include performances by Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Natasha Bedingfield, OneRepublic, Plain White T’s. and Taylor Swift plus other celebrity appearances. It all starts at 10pm ET/PT and will include a break for local news and then be back at 11:35pm.

BroadwayWorld brings us an exclusive sneak peak at Disney’s upcoming musical The Little Mermaid! The new show originally scheduled to open December 6, now will open January 10,2008. Will the show live up to other Disney hits such as Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King? Hannah Montana star Emily Osment, and Dancing With the Stars’ Cameron Mathison seem to think so! Both stars visited the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to see a preview of the under-the-sea musical on December 18.

Speaking of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus visited Mamma Mia! on Christmas Eve with her Mom, Grandmother and Dad in tow. A film adaptation of the musical is expected to release on July 18, 2008. Mamma Mia! is told through the songs by the popular ‘70s group ABBA. The movie has a star-studded cast including Academy Award Winner Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Mean Girl star Amanda Seyfried. View the Trailer!

Want to know what it’s like to be a Broadway actor? Andrew Keenan-Bolger who is currently starring as “Leaf Coneybear” on the US Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee shows us the day-to-day life of he and his fellow castmates through his blog and vlog, both entitled “Andrew’s Blog.” Subscribe to the vlog on YouTube and read the blog here .
